Adapt session

Short on time? No equipment? No problem! Adapt Session will help you modify your training to fit your needs so you can still get your workout in and progress toward your goals. Adapt your training to exclude equipment and body areas and modify for time constraints or limited spaces.

Badges

Badges are a celebration of your achievements as you progress towards your goals. Whether it was a workout, a challenge, or staying consistent, earning a badge allows you to show off your hard work and celebrate milestones.

Challenges

If you’re looking for a boost of motivation, challenges are where it’s at. You can join a Freeletics official challenge (and win some pretty epic prizes!) or create your own challenge. Both are a great way to build consistency and level up your performance.

The Freeletics Coach

Harnessing the power of AI and human sports scientists, the Freeletics Coach creates personalized workout plans tailored to your fitness level and goal. After each training session, the Coach updates your training plan based on your feedback and progress, guiding you toward your goals.

Coach+

Powered by AI, Coach+ is your go-to personal training guru, available 24/7. Get expert advice on exercise techniques and performance along with instant answers to wellness, nutrition, and fitness questions.

Coach Feedback

Giving Coach feedback is critical to getting the most out of your Coach experience. To tailor your training plan and make it just the right amount of challenge, the Coach needs your honest input after each training session to adjust your next workout accordingly.

Coach settings

The Coach settings allow you to change or update any preferences to your training plan. Tap on the settings icon in the Coach tab to update your training plan. Whether you’ve started a new journey, updated the number of sessions per week, or added new equipment to your arsenal, you can update your plan to suit your needs.

Conditioning

These trainings are designed to maximize your heart and lung capacity by challenging both the aerobic and anaerobic energy systems. This is the training that gets you fit and allows you to run further and harder.

Community

The beating heart of Freeletics is the Community. Connect and follow others, give ClapClaps for tough sweat sessions, or meet up in real life at Ambassador-led Community Events. It’s the ultimate way to stay accountable, get motivated, and train with other like-minded athletes looking to become their best versions.

Create your workout

The Freeletics workout creation tool takes customization to a whole new level. Add unlimited exercises and rests into a sequence of your dreams – the sky is truly the limit here. You can use your body weight or even a Dumbbell or two, just adjust it, set the reps, rounds, or duration, and hit save.

The best part? It’s easily shareable, so you can recruit your favorite training buddy to take part in your unique creation.

DAS

Using millions of data points, your Daily Athlete Score, or DAS, calculates a near-real-time fitness level assessment. It measures your top performances from the past 90 days and benchmarks them against similar Free Athletes, helping you identify your strengths and areas for improvement.

Equipment

If you’re looking to progress your training to the next level, adding some equipment to your workouts is an excellent way to challenge your body in new ways. Equipment is required for some Training Journeys, but for most, it is optional.

The equipment you'll need to train with Freeletics Weighted Training Journeys, for example, includes barbells, dumbbells, a bench, and a power rack. In your Coach settings, you can select the equipment you have on hand, and this selection will be reflected in your training sessions.

Free Athlete

Whether you’re a fitness newbie or a seasoned athlete, anyone who uses the Freeletics app is automatically a Free Athlete. It’s a badge of honor – own it!

Free run

Lace-up and hit the ground running for a run that’s entirely your own. You set the pace, you decide the length – that’s what a free run is all about.

God workouts

God workouts are signature Freeletics workouts that are designed to put your fitness to the test. Ranging in difficulty from beginner to advanced, these high-intensity workouts challenge you vs. you.

God workouts never change, so you can come back to them repeatedly to see your fitness improve over time and earn that shiny new PB.

Interval

Untimed workouts where the focus is on performing the exercises perfectly and sticking to the suggested pace rather than as fast as possible. Consisting of multiple rounds, exercises are repeated to encourage perfect execution.

Leaderboard

See how your latest God workout time stacks up against fellow Free Athletes or even yourself. The leaderboard will give you insight into where you stand against some of the top performers, and may even give you a dose of motivation to push even harder the next round.

Pace (running)

Your pace is how fast you run a Freeletics run or sprint.

PB

Personal Best. The fastest you have ever completed an exercise or workout, with perfect form.

Profile settings

Your profile settings are exactly what the name implies – everything you need to tailor and adjust your profile just as you like. Select your display mode, adjust your training settings, or connect third-party data integrations like Apple Health, Google Health Connect, and Strava. Here, you’ll also find help & support, privacy settings, and the nitty gritty legal details.

Coach tab, Community tab, and Profile tab

Navigate the Freeletics app via the three tabs at the bottom: Community, Coach, and Profile. The Community tab includes a feed of all the activities from other Free Athletes along with your own, plus Challenges to create or join in.

The Coach tab is all about YOU. View your planned or future training sessions, current level, where you are on your Training Journey, streaks, explore additional workouts, and more.

The Profile tab gets into the numbers. Here, you’ll find your DAS broken down by performance and consistency along with stats, settings, and referrals.

Referrals

Earn rewards by sharing Freeletics with your friends and family. Simply tap Get Rewards on the Profile Tab to learn everything you need to know about our referral program.

Skill progression

If you’re aiming to master a new skill or tackle an advanced exercise that feels just out of reach, Skill Progressions are here to guide you step by step. By enabling a Skill Progression, the Coach will create a clear plan to help you master the desired skill within your personalized training program. Bonus – once you’ve mastered the skill, you’ll also earn a badge!

Star

If you successfully complete every exercise with perfect technique, you’ll be awarded a Star. Earning a Star gives your Coach the go-ahead to assign you more challenging exercises.

Syncing with Apple Health, Google Health, and Strava

Track all of your activities outside the Freeletics app by enabling one of several external data integrations under the profile settings tab. That means whether you have a wearable or not, you can track that run, bike ride, hike, or yoga sesh’ all in one place. It’ll automatically feed into your daily streak and boost your DAS consistency score too, win-win!
