I have read many stories like this one, but never did I think I would experience such a transformation myself. I had been gaining more and more weight since I was 11 years old. This got to the point that in the summer of 2016, when I was 20, I reached a weight of 115kg.
I used to do a lot of sports when I was younger and lighter, but my excessive weight began to limit me. I knew I had to change something.
A good friend of mine had already achieved an amazing transformation with Freeletics and by changing to a healthy nutrition. So I decided in August 2016 to buy the Bodyweight Coach. I avoided alcohol and drank nothing but water. I ate consciously and I took good care to avoid refined sugar and bad fats.
It sounds so simple, but by exercising and eating healthily, I lost 10kg – I was so happy I almost had to cry. I felt incredible, almost invincible. Not only had my strength and perseverance improved, but my willpower and discipline had grown tremendously.
At the beginning I trained alone at home or in the garden. At some point, I began to train with others. To this day I am annoyed at myself for not starting sooner. The motivation in a group is much better, we all have something in common, so we can exchange experiences and push each other.
I realised that I can motivate people to change something, because even I have already achieved it. Now I look at myself and feel happy, and that is the most important thing. After dropping two sized, I had to re-equip my complete wardrobe, but this time I loved doing it.
